Statemens of Faith

The Bible We believe the Bible to be the inspired living Word of God: infallible and unchanging from Genesis to Revelation. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The Trinity We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; these three are One. Our God is One but manifested in three persons. (1 John 5:7

The deity of Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin. He was crucified, He died and on the third day, H rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father. (Acts 2:32-36; Luke 1:30-35)

Salvation We believe that salvation is only obtained through repentance and confession of our sins. It is a gift given by grace and not works, received through faith in Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and men. (Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5-6)

The resurrection of the dead & eternal life We believe in the second coming of Christ for His people. The dead will rise first and Christians who are alive will be caught up to meet Jesus in the Rapture; Everyone else will experience Judgement; believers will resurrect to eternal life with Jesus and will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Unbelievers will resurrect to be judged at the Great White Throne Judgement and will suffer eternal damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelation 20:11-15)

Sanctification We believe sanctification happens instantly in the spirit but that it must be progressively developed in the body and soul of every believer. (Romans 6:19-22)

Baptism in Water Baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct command of our Lord.. It is a symbol of  identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. We baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.(Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from Goad as promised by Jesus to all believers. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues and empowers believers to become witnesses of Jesus to the world.(Acts 1:8, 2:4)

Hell & Eternal Punishment Anyone who dies without accepting Christ is eternally lost and is sentenced to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire and has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting.(Hebrews 10:26-27, Revelation 19:20)

Divine Healing We believe in the power of the kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons and perform miracles, signs and wonders provided by the atonement of Christ. (Mark 1:32-34)

The Governing Ministries We believe the apostle and prophet are governmental ministries that establish the foundation and Biblical doctrine in the church. (Ephesians 2:20, 3:5)
